About Amy
Amy began baking professionally in 2010, soon establishing Amy’s Cakes Ltd to share her passion for creating delicious, handcrafted cakes. From cupcakes and celebration cakes to wedding and birthday cakes, Amy quickly built a devoted customer base who appreciated her attention to detail and commitment to quality.
As orders grew, so did the business — and in 2017, Amy undertook a full kitchen renovation to expand her production capacity and meet increasing demand.
In 2018, Amy further broadened her offering by acquiring Posh Puds, a long-established company specialising in premium handmade meringues. This expansion allowed her to diversify her product range and reach a wider audience, supplying both trade clients — including restaurants and hotels — and individual customers.
Today, Amy produces an extensive range of cakes, meringues, breads, brownies, and more, all handmade with care and high-quality ingredients. She also creates personalised corporate items, providing bespoke treats and branded bakes for events, gifts, and promotional use.
Amy’s business is fully registered with Wirral Council and proudly holds a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating.
